Microsoft Teams integration

Robin intercoms integrate with Microsoft Teams using a third-party gateway solution such as CyberGate. The integration enables both audio and video communication as well as remote door unlocking without the need for any additional hardware.

CyberGate acts as a bridge between the intercom and Microsoft Teams, translating the SIP communication from the intercom into Teams-compatible signalling. Once in place, users can receive calls in Teams from a Robin intercom on any device. Calls can also be routed to call groups for a more resilient visitor welcoming process, and recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

Advanced event triggering

For organisations with a more advanced setup, Robin intercoms support event-based actions through a built-in HTTPS Event Manager, enabling real-time event triggers and communication with external systems. Events such as call initiations, button presses, and relay activations are transmitted via secure HTTP or HTTPS requests, allowing you to link towards simultaneous streams and feed real-time information directly into your VMS. In turn, this allows direct integration with REST-based platforms, access control systems, and custom third-party applications. Combined with API control for device interaction, this ensures full interoperability and synchronized oversight across a wide range of environments.
